Sticky Wall — Your Free Online Digital Sticky Notes

Sticky Wall is a simple, browser-based tool that gives you an open canvas to create and arrange digital sticky notes. No account needed, no app to install — just open the page and start writing.

How it works

Click + Add note to place a new note on the wall. Double-click any note to edit its text. Drag notes freely to organise them however you like. Every change is saved to your browser automatically, so your wall is right where you left it next time you visit.

Need to back up your notes or move them to another device? Click Export to download your entire wall as a .json file — the filename includes today's date so you can keep multiple snapshots. To restore or merge a saved wall, click Import, pick the file, and the notes are added straight onto your current wall without overwriting what is already there.

There are no folders, no tags, and no complicated settings. Sticky Wall is a single, open surface — like a real corkboard. Notes get a random pastel colour when created, and clicking any note brings it to the front. Delete what you don't need; keep what matters.

Your notes are private

Sticky Wall stores all your notes in your browser's localStorage. Your notes never leave your device and are not sent to any server. There are no accounts, no passwords, and no cloud sync — your notes are yours alone.

Free and ad-supported

Works on mobile, tablet, and desktop

Sticky Wall is fully responsive — the layout adapts automatically to your screen size. On a phone or tablet you get a touch-friendly toolbar with a hamburger menu for quick access to navigation, export, and import. On a desktop the full toolbar is always visible.

Notes can be created and dragged with a finger on touch screens. The wall scales to fill whatever viewport you have, so you can brainstorm on the go and pick up exactly where you left off on a larger screen — your notes are saved locally and stay in place.
